Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a financial, fintech, or enterprise software environment.
Skills & Tools
Design & Prototyping Tools:
Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin
Research & Testing:
Usability Hub, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar, User Testing
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and how designs are implemented
Familiarity with agile software development and design systems
UX Capabilities:
Wireframing, prototyping, user flows, journey mapping
Heuristic evaluation and usability testing
Accessibility (WCAG), inclusive design principles
Key Responsibilities
Design responsive, high-fidelity user interfaces for mobile banking apps and online banking portals.
Translate product requirements into sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and QA to ensure feasibility and alignment.
Maintain and contribute to a centralized design system and UI component library.
Apply design thinking principles and advocate for user-centered design practices.
Ensure compliance with accessibility, usability, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
