Job Description

iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst (BA) to join our team and act as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for eliciting requirements, analyzing business processes, identifying technology solutions, and ensuring seamless communication between business and IT. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent analytical and communication skills, and experience in delivering enterprise-level technology projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or technical role.

  • Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

  • Proven experience in creating detailed specifications, workflows, wireframes, and use cases.

  • Solid understanding of data structures, APIs, SQL, and integration patterns.

  • Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.

  • Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes and systems, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimized workflows or system changes.

  • Technical Translation: Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, data models, and user stories for development teams.

  • Solution Design Support: Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA to design and validate technical solutions aligned with business goals.

  • Project Support: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and change management processes.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between business units, development teams, and external vendors.

  • Data Analysis: Perform data mapping, profiling, and analysis to support data-driven decision-making and solution implementation.

  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, user guides, and release notes.
